Physician Endorsed was founded in 2002 by Elissa Margulies and Michael Ross. In 2023, Remi Fuchs became the new owner of Physician Endorsed.

Remi Fuchs has been working under the Founders, Elissa Margulies and Michael Ross. After a lot of dedication, time and passion for the company, Remi Fuchs became the new Owner and Designer of Physician Endorsed.

The founders of Physician Endorsed, Elissa Margulies and Michael Ross, happen to be Remi’s Aunt & Uncle. Elissa and Michael founded Forget Me Not in the 1980’s, and sold the company in 2000’s. While enjoying an active lifestyle of hiking, biking, boating, traveling, and so on, Elissa could not find a hat that offered maximum sun protection from the sun, while still painting a sense of style. There was no fashionable, but practical product available. Especially one you can take from your walks to your brunches. Less than 2 years later, Physician Endorsed was Founded, and created to fill a gap in the market.

22 years later and both departments; Fashion and Skin Awareness, have only become more popular. Which means the need for fashionable and sun protective hats is in high demand.

Remi Fuchs has made it her mission to continue to provide customers with sun protective headwear, that is considered “on trend” and stylish. While insuring all products be made with top quality material, and protect you from the sun.

Physician Endorsed was first carried in Spas and Dermatologist Offices. Today, Physician Endorsed is available in more than 2000 retailers worldwide. Including Department Stores, Hotels and Resorts, Boutiques, Country Clubs and Golf Clubs, Yacht Clubs, Online Retailers, and Gift Shops.
